Winter squash, any variety, or potatoes

Directions:

1. Simply poke a few holes in the skin and place the squash or potatoes in your slow cooker with about one-half cup of water.
2. Cook on low for about 4 hours.
3. Add some butter and salt to the squash; put sour cream or butter on squash or potato to serve.
