Shelby Hummel, MS, LN

Shelby grew up in the kitchen, surrounded by her mother's good food and a love for feeding others. After finding out she was gluten sensitive in her early 20's and paired with the stress and anxiety of college, Shelby was motivated to learn about nutrition. She soon started learning about the power of gut health and discovered fresh recipes that provided great energy instead of making her feel sluggish and tired. After feeding her body with real foods not only did her wavering moods and low energy improve, but her hormonal acne and rashes cleared up as well.

Inspired by the positive results, Shelby wanted to share her experiences with others fighting a food sensitivity, weight issues, chronic diseases and other health concerns. During counseling sessions Shelby helps clients establish a better relationship with food, demystifying the complex work of calories by sharing the power of real food in the form of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

Shelby knows that food is part of our everyday life and social culture, and she loves helping clients start finding foods that make them feel great!
